Can I use my existing router with your service?

Yes. Any broadband router will work with our service. Please note that some “Combo Routers” from providers like Telus, Bell, Shaw, etc that have an available Ethernet WAN port may work, but is not recommended.

Can I do streaming video such as Skype and Netflix?

Yes. We suggest at least the Silver package for any streaming video usage.

How much is a gigabyte (GB) of data?

A gigabyte is a measurement of computer data. 1 Gigabyte (GB) is equivalent to 1000 Megabytes (MB). 1 GB of data can be approximately estimated at: 2 hours of streaming video 300 music tracks 10000 emails

How can I track my data usage?

We will email you if you reach 75% and 100% of your data limits for the month and give you the opportunity to upgrade to a larger package if required. You can also log into your account on our website to get an overview of the data usage over the period of your account.

How long does the installation take?

We will typically schedule your install for 1 – 5 business days after your signup. The install itself can range from 1 – 3 hours of work. We require you to be home during the install.

Do you include email services?

Unfortunately no, we do not. There are many free providers out now that can give you a much better email experience. We suggest Gmail or Outlook but there are many others available.

Do I need a phone line?

No. An Evolve Communications tech will install a radio onto your rooftop and run the cable into your home or business to connect to your equipment.

Can I receive a paper invoice?

All invoicing is done electronically via email. There is no paper mail service.

How can I pay for my service?

You can pay via Visa, Mastercard, Preauthorized Bank Debit or Cheque.

Do you offer seasonal service? I would like to suspend my service for several months of the year.
